Privacy Policy

Whole Manna ("we", "us") is an app by TMC Ventures LLC that helps you find healthier groceries, plan meals and find local farms. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.

What we collect and why

Location. When you look for stores or farms, the app sends your location, or a ZIP code you type, to our server to find places near you. We use it only to answer that request. We don't build a location history or tie your location to your identity.

What you search for. Search terms, scanned barcodes, meal requests and budget plans are sent to our server so we can return results. Meal requests, budget plans and some searches are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, to write recipes and understand what you're looking for. We don't sell this information or use it for advertising.

Camera. The camera is used on your device to read barcodes. Images are not uploaded or stored.

Your lists and plans. Your shopping list, meal plans, saved farms and recently viewed products are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status with an anonymous identifier. We never see your payment card details.

Diet and health information. Preferences you choose (for example "dairy-free") are used only to answer your request and are not stored on our servers with your identity.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information.
• We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
• We don't require an account.

Service providers

We use providers to run the app: cloud hosting and database providers, Cloudflare (this website), Anthropic (AI processing), RevenueCat (subscription management), and public product and place data (USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts, Kroger, USDA Local Food Directories, OpenStreetMap and the U.S. Census Bureau). They may only use information to provide their service to us.

Children

Whole Manna is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can turn off location or camera access in your phone's settings at any time; the rest of the app keeps working, and you can type a ZIP code instead. Because we don't keep accounts, there's no account to delete. To ask about your information, contact us below.

State privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California or Washington), you may have rights to know about, delete, or limit the use of your personal information, including consumer health data. We don't sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Contact us to exercise any rights.

We'll post changes here and update the effective date.
